Privacy commitment

The protection of your personal and financial data is an absolute priority. The Custos application is designed to respect your privacy completely. No subscription, budget, bank account, or contact data is collected, analyzed, sold, or shared for commercial or marketing purposes.

Data collection and storage

All data you enter in the application (subscription names, amounts, categories, banks, subscribers, notes, letter templates) is stored securely on your device locally via SwiftData.

If you choose to enable the optional iCloud sync in the settings, your data is transferred and stored in an encrypted format on your personal Apple iCloud account (CloudKit). We have no access to this data: it remains confidential and under the exclusive control of your Apple ID.

Tracking data and third-party tools

• No trackersThe application does not integrate any third-party analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.). We do not track your usage.
• No advertisingThe application contains no ad networks and does not use the IDFA framework for cross-app ad tracking.

Local processing

The email and letter cancellation generator operates entirely offline on your device. All text templates are generated locally and never transit through any external server.

Diagnostic and crash data

If you have agreed to share diagnostic information with developers in your Apple device's system settings, anonymous crash logs may be sent to us via Apple App Store Connect. These reports contain no user-identifying data and are used only to improve app stability.

Your rights and deleting data

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you retain full control over your data:

• Local deletionYou can erase all your data directly within the app's settings or by uninstalling the app from your device.
• iCloud deletionYou can disable and delete data saved in iCloud from your Apple device's system Settings (Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage).
