App for Homey Pro

EV Charging France

Know a charging point is free before you leave.

Available v1.1.6

Operators declare their charging points to the French national access point for transport data. The app follows every point within a radius, or one specific station, with the number of free points, the power and the tariff where it is published. It is candid about its limits: availability comes from the operators and is not always fresh, so the app always shows when the reading was taken.

Dashboards

A widget is a tile you place on a Homey Dashboard: it shows its information without your having to open anything.

Charge points

Charge points 195 px tall

The number of free charging points, the station, its address, the tariff where published, and how fresh the reading is.

Flow cards

Homey writes an automation in three parts: when something happens, and if a condition holds, then do this. Anything on a lighter background, such as radius, is a parameter you set in the Flow. Every condition also exists in its negative form, which Homey flips with one click.

And 5

  • The station status is status

Then 2

  • Set the search radius to radius km

What's new

  1. Version 1.1.6

EV Charging France 1.1.6 gives the Charge points widget a clearer layout and an easier way to choose what it shows.

    • Tiles share a common layout: nearby or tracked station on top, then the station name, the number of free charge points, the address, and a footer with the tariff and how up to date the data is.
    • In the widget, you now pick the device from a list, with search, so two tiles can follow two different stations or areas.

Add the Charge points widget from your dashboard and pick one of your devices in the list. If you leave it empty, the Show setting decides instead: first available device, charge points nearby, or tracked charging station. Then choose a background: deep blue, slate, plum, forest or sand.

Each tile shows a single device: for home and work, add the widget twice. The figure in the middle is the number of charge points currently free, out of the total at that station or in that area.
