App for Homey Pro

Air Quality France

Let your home breathe at the right moment.

Available v1.1.4

The ATMO index is published town by town, with tomorrow's forecast and the five pollutants that make it up. This is the app whose use in home automation is the most direct: ventilation that stops when the air outside is worse than the air inside, a motorised window that stays shut during a peak. The card that fires when the forecast is published leaves a whole evening to plan.

Dashboards

A widget is a tile you place on a Homey Dashboard: it shows its information without your having to open anything.

ATMO index

ATMO index 195 px tall

The town, the index out of six with a dot in its official colour, the level in words, then the pollutant driving it and the time of the reading.

Air quality

Air quality 195 px tall

The level spelled out rather than as a figure, with its dot, then tomorrow's as soon as it is published, the main pollutant and the time of the reading.

Flow cards

Homey writes an automation in three parts: when something happens, and if a condition holds, then do this. Anything on a lighter background, such as radius, is a parameter you set in the Flow. Every condition also exists in its negative form, which Homey flips with one click.

What's new

  1. Version 1.1.4

Air Quality France 1.1.4 is all about the dashboard widgets: easier to set up, easier to read.

    • The town of each widget is now picked from a list with search, instead of being typed by hand.
    • Each town in that list shows today's level, for example “Fair · 2/6”, so you can tell them apart at a glance.
    • Widgets you placed before keep showing the town you typed; nothing to redo.
    • If the town a widget points to is removed from Devices, the tile says so and asks you to pick another one, instead of staying blank.
    • The Air quality and ATMO index tiles share a common layout: category, town, the level in large type, then the dominant pollutant and the time of the reading.

Edit a dashboard, add a widget and choose Air Quality France, then Air quality or ATMO index. In the widget settings, pick the town from the list (leave it empty to show the first one) and choose a background: deep blue, slate, plum, forest or sand.
