Legenda

01

No data collected

Legenda collects nothing. No account to create, no advertising, no analytics, no third-party measurement tool, no external library. Your library stays on your devices and in your personal iCloud account; it passes through no server of ours.

What leaves your device

What does Legenda send over the Internet?

The ISBN of a book you scan, or the title and author pair you type into a search. Nothing else. Those requests go to the Bibliothèque nationale de France, Open Library and Google Books, and only to find a book's record. No user or device identifier goes with them.

Where are my books stored?

On your device, and in the private database of your iCloud account if it is active. We have access to neither. Legenda also writes automatic backups, in the place you choose on first launch.

Are my photos and notes sent anywhere?

No. Copy photos, the covers you replace and your notes stay in your library. Your note history doesn't even leave the device where you write them: it is neither synced nor exported.

How do I delete all my data?

Delete the app, then in your Apple device's Settings open [Your Name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage › Legenda and delete the data. You can also export everything first, as JSON or CSV, from Legenda's settings.
