Privacy commitment

The protection of your personal and acoustic data is an absolute priority. The Taceo application is designed to respect your privacy completely. No acoustic, noise level, or personal data is recorded, analyzed, sold, or shared for commercial or marketing purposes.

Passive acoustic processing

Taceo operates in **100% passive** mode. The app captures the audio stream in real-time to compute the decibel level (RMS value calculation) directly in RAM. The audio buffer is immediately overwritten and released from memory.

No audio recordings, waveforms, or voices are saved to your device's storage or sent to any third party. You remain completely safe from voice leaks or active listening pipelines.

Data collection and storage

All threshold exceedance data (exact timestamps, peak decibels, duration) and application settings are stored securely on your device locally via SwiftData. The application does not use synchronization with third-party cloud servers.

Tracking data and third-party tools

• No trackersThe application does not integrate any third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.). We do not measure your usage.
• No advertisingThe application contains no ad networks and does not use the IDFA framework for cross-app ad tracking.

Certified NTP timestamping

If you enable certified NTP time synchronization, the app sends a standard UDP request to a time server (Apple NTP or similar) to obtain atomic time. This network request does not transmit any acoustic stream or personal identifiers.

Your rights and deleting data

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you retain full control over your data:

• Local deletionYou can erase all your history data directly in the app settings or by uninstalling the app from your device.
