Visualize every listening network socket open on your machine and understand where it originates at a glance.
- Local Port (e.g., :49173) The open network port on your machine, formatted without thousands separators (e.g., :49173 instead of :49 173) for standard technical clarity.
- Protocol Indicated by a blue TCP or orange UDP badge based on the underlying network protocol.
- App Icon The icon of the application associated with the process, resolved asynchronously to ensure a fluid UI.
- App Name (e.g., Ollama, Antigravity) The name of the app or system service owning the socket.
- PID (Process ID, e.g., PID 1389) The unique process identifier assigned by the macOS kernel.
- User (e.g., nburma) The owner user of the process. A red shield warning indicator is displayed if the process belongs to system administration (root).
- Red Button (X) Allows you to terminate the process instantly using a SIGKILL signal. For root processes, a macOS password confirmation prompt will trigger.
